Shutong Hartsell, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Shutong Hartsell completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics before attending the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for her dental degree, graduating with Clinical Honors and Honors in Community Health. She continues to advance her skills and knowledge with regular training with hundreds of hours in continuing education courses, leading her to achieve the title of Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). She has also trained extensively with Progressive Orthodontics regarding clear aligner therapy and with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine regarding dental sleep apnea treatments. Dr. Harsell is actively pursuing additional continuing education courses, including monthly study group sessions with the Greater Washington Academy of Dental Studies.
Dr. Hartsell is a member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Greater Washington Academy of Dental Studies (GWADS).
Dr. Hartsell has practiced in the greater Washington area since 2017. She is a caring and humble dentist who listens to her patients’ concerns and is dedicated to helping her patients feel proud of their smiles and receive comfortable and comprehensive care. Her gentle touch will help every patient feel at ease in her office.
In her free time, Dr. Hartsell enjoys hiking, sewing, Argentine Tango, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jungwon Christine Roh, DDS
Dr. Christine Roh graduated from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology before attending New York University College of Dentistry. During her time at NYUCD, she served as a peer mentor for underclassmen and was selected as an Honors student to provide dental care to refugees and vulnerable populations. Following graduation from dental school, she completed a one-year general practice residency at Jefferson Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia. During her dental training, she realized the importance of finding solutions to provide access to dental care and believes in the importance of oral health literacy and preventative care. Dr. Roh is always committed to learning about the newest advances in dentistry and actively searches for opportunities to grow.
Despite growing up all over the east coast, Dr. Christine considers the DMV area home and can’t wait to settle in the area again. During her free time she likes to spend time with family and friends, feed treats to her little kitty, and learn new recipes in the kitchen. She is always open to recommendations for what to binge on Netflix!
